Professional Bio
Parker MacDonell is a seasoned financial services and business executive with an interest in helping others succeed in business. He helps business owners with capital formation, succession planning, goal setting and value creation. By encouraging his clients to begin with the end in mind, he helps them plan for success.

Parker's financial services career has combined commercial banking, angel investing and start-up business ventures. At Bank One, he led teams of retail, commercial and community bankers to serve their clients. At CFBank, he successfully launched the entry of the company into the Columbus market and built a base of satisfied clients. As a member of the Executive Committee of, and investor in the Ohio TechAngel Funds, Parker assists entrepreneurs with the growth of emerging businesses. He co-founded Six String Concerts, a non-profit presenter of singer/songwriter concerts in Columbus. He also co-founded Writer Zone Music, a Nashville-based music publishing company created to give songwriters greater control over their song copyrights. Parker has served on the boards of three for-profit companies, one of which had a successful liquidity event. He has also served the communities in which he's lived and worked on the boards of over twenty not-for-profit organizations in the arts, workforce development, healthcare and other fields.

Parker holds an undergraduate degree in music from Dartmouth College and a Master's Degree in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management. He is an active musical performer, and the thrill of being on stage is exceeded only by the satisfaction of participating in a new venture and helping it succeed.
